A great forgotten road i can remember travelling across to Perth back in the 60s with my parents in a old Holden towing a bond wood caravan what great memories The trip back could of easily cost me my life on the morning we were leaving Perth I had sharp stomach pain and that night I was rushed in to have my appendix removed you could only imagine a burst appendix on the old Nullarbor road and the outcome
From what I've learned, watching others as they have crossed the Nullarbor, is that it has to do with wind and air pressure changes. So when it does blow, its a column of air. Also, they are not very big around.
Team we have loved this series and can’t wait to explore that region. That cave was incredible and just hope that’s it is treated with respected by others like you did. Those cliff shots were epic Simon 👌 Can’t wait to see you hit the Googs track. We get our new Lifestyle Reconn in a few weeks so not long and we will be on the road. Matt and Leisa.
The koonalda blowhole. You looked into it, it’s a small hole. When we where there it was blowing enough to blow my hat off. There’s info on how the blowholes on the Nullarbor work at the Caiguna blowhole. It’s got something to do with air pressure, they suck as well as blow.
There are 100% wombats out that way. Used to be heaps of them. I am so looking forward to your Googs track video. It's on the list of places to go. Did you catch up with Jenny Denton for a googs history lesson?

Awesome area
What GPS system do you guys use? Thanks.
Can I ask what did you guys work at before travel. Love your vids and travels.
Actually, the kids chucking a few rocks into that cave, would maybe wake up anything you might not want to wake up?
